Charles Barkley given 6000-1 odds to win celebrity golf tournament

So you're saying there's a chance.

Charles Barkley and his atrocious golf swing are in Nevada this weekend, taking part in the American Century Championship celebrity tournament in Lake Tahoe.

Barkley, infamously known as a terrible golfer, was given 6000-1 odds to win the tournament in which he finished 90th out of 91 contestants last year, according to David Purdum of ESPN.

For comparisons sake, Leicester City's astronomical odds to win the English Premier League last season were 5000-1.

Barkely, though, isn't concerned with the numbers.

"I would love to play great golf, but I think it's probably not going to happen for me, man," Barkley said. "But I'm a little too old to be trying to take sports serious - I'm just out there to relax and have a good time."
