SAN FRANCISCO (AP) A quick look Saturday at the third round of the U.S. Open on The Olympic Club's 7,170-yard, par-70 Lake Course:
Leading: Graeme McDowell and Jim Furyk at 1-under 209. McDowell shot 2-under 68, and Furyk had a 70. Both are U.S. Open champions.
Just behind: Fredrik Jacobson at 1 over. Two-time U.S. Open champion Ernie Els was 2 over along with Lee Westwood, Blake Adams and Nicholas Colsaerts.
Where's Tiger: Tied for 14th at 4 over after entering the third round tied for the lead. Woods' 75 matched his highest score when he at least a share of the lead after any round of a major.
Terrific Teen: 17-year-old amateur Beau Hossler followed every one of his four bogeys with a birdie for a 70 that left him at 3 over.
Notable: Furyk, who also played the first two days alongside McDowell, is the only player who has not had a round over par this week.
Quoteable: ``My goal now is to win the tournament.'' - Hossler.
