Report: Grizzlies offered Serbia's Teodosic multi-year deal in 2013

Milos Teodosic may receive a number of offers from NBA teams when his contract expires as early as next summer, but it won't be the first time the Serbian point guard has drawn interest from the Association.

The Memphis Grizzlies offered Teodosic a two-year deal worth around $5 million back in 2013, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Teodosic turned down the offer, opting to sign a contract with Russian club CSKA Moscow instead.

Teodosic told ESPN last week that his goal of playing in the NBA was "a long time ago," implying that there's no guarantee he'll actually head overseas when he becomes a free agent.

Through four games in Rio, Teodosic is averaging a respectable 12.5 points and five assists, while also drawing plenty of praise from U.S. head coach Mike Krzyzewski

"As good a player, as good a guard, as there is in Europe," Krzyzewski told Stein.

With their win on Sunday, the Serbians (2-3) clinched a quarterfinals berth, giving Teodosic more opportunity to show scouts his ability.
