DeMarcus Cousins had little to do with the U.S. men's Olympic team's massive 44-point victory over Venezuela in Group A action Monday. The Sacramento Kings All-Star fouled out after just eight minutes - five fouls result in an Olympic exit as opposed to the NBA's six.

So how does one console a 6-foot-11, 270-pound behemoth when he's obviously distraught over the referee's whistle?

Give him a hug, of course.

Carmelo Anthony isn't usually about the hug life, but he made an exception when it came to Boogie.

"I'm not really a hugger," Anthony told ESPN's Marc Stein. "Sometimes you just gotta give (Cousins) a hug, man, and tell him everything's gonna be all right."

Along with his giant hug, Anthony dropped 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting, moving past Michael Jordan for third on the U.S. men's Olympic scoring list.
