Given that Rask was not on the ice for an optional morning skate Tuesday, he's on track to start to be the home starter against the Hurricanes later in the evening.

Analysis:

With Boston barely clinging on in the race for a playoff spot, the Bruins are widely expected to turn to Rask for the three games that remain on their regular-season schedule. On the heels of Sunday's 6-4 loss to Chicago, the team's blue line will need to shape up if Rask is to have a shot at leading his team to the postseason. With that in mind, it looks like Kevan Miller and Colin Miller will join the B's back line mix Tuesday, at the expense of Zach Trotman and Joe Morrow.
