Flames' Gaudreau will not play vs. Coyotes

Johnny Gaudreau will miss Monday's game against the Coyotes with a nagging upper-body injury, the Flames have announced.

Analysis:

Gaudreau's absence comes at a vital portion of the fantasy campaign, but fortunately it sounds as though he could return as soon as Wednesday against the Ducks. The newly-recalled Hunter Shinkaruk replaced him on the top line during practice Monday, and could slot in there during the evening's contest, but his upside remains limited. Expect further updates on the star winger over the next couple days.
