Jack Eichel: Expected to play Tuesday

Eichel (illness) is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday against the Hurricanes, Bill Hoppe of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Eichel's illness held him out of practice Monday, but it's something he's apparently reaching the tail end of. Expect another update on the rookie on game day, but all signs point towards him returning to the lineup following a one-game absence Saturday. Buffalo's top sniper should be a good play against Carolina, who have allowed seven goals in their past two games.
