Lehner will be in net Thursday against the Canadiens.

Analysis:

Lehner reportedly looked good in practice Wednesday, leading to coach Dan Bylsma's decision to go with the 24-year-old Swede. He continues to split starts with Chad Johnson, limiting his value in season-long leagues, but the youngster has been solid overall this campaign, owning a .927 save percentage, giving him some daily merit. A lack of offensive support and the volume of shots he faces serves as a drawback in some instances, but he'll get a decent matchup Thursday against a Canadiens club with a minus-7.8 shot differential and minus-0.50 goal differential on the month.
