Marian Hossa: Will likely play Wednesday

Hossa (leg) will likely return to action Wednesday against the Blues, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Analysis:

Hossa practiced Tuesday for the first time since sustaining a leg injury on Feb. 13 against Anaheim. He skated alongside Jonathan Toews and Andrew Ladd during line rushes in practice, which strongly suggests the Blackhawks are expecting to have the 37-year-old winger back in the lineup for Wednesday's matchup with St. Louis. Hossa's owners can expect an update on the former first-round pick's status following Wednesday's morning skate, but it appears as though Chicago's top-six forward group will be back at full strength against the Blues.
