Lehner gets the starting nod against the Rangers on Tuesday.

Analysis:

Lehner has struggled to come up with wins of late, as he's gone 3-4-3 in his last 10 contests, including a five-goal night against the Flyers. On the year, the 24-year-old has a meager five victories and faces a tough matchup in the Rangers. Though he's currently the team's No. 1 starter, he needs to string together some strong performances to keep backup Chad Johnson, who has 15 wins in 34 games this season, at bay. Lehner missed significant time with a high-ankle sprain early in the season, which has derailed his first year as a No. 1 goalie. The Rangers are averaging 2.80 goals per game as well as almost 29 shots per game this season.
