Cory Schneider: Will be reevaluated in two weeks

Schneider (knee) has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 MCL sprain and will be reevaluated in two weeks, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.

Analysis:

Schneider has been one of the few bright spots for the Devils this season, posting a 2.17 GAA and .923 save percentage, albeit with a 26-23-6 record. Given that his team's playoff chances took a major hit the past few weeks, Schneider probably won't be rushed back into action and may even be done for the season. Keith Kinkaid figures to get most of the starts, with Yann Danis serving as the top backup.
