Huberdeau (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.

Analysis:

Huberdeau will, at the very least, miss the Panthers' next two contests after landing on injured reserve Thursday. He'll be eligible to return to action Sunday against the Wild, but it remains to be seen if that's a realistic expectation. The 22-year-old winger has yet to resume skating, meaning owners can expect an update on his status once he's able to return to the ice. The Panthers and fantasy owners alike will hope that the former first-round pick isn't dealing with a long-term issue, as he's been great this season, tallying 40 points (11 goals, 29 assists) in 59 games.
