Kopitar (lower body) is expected to play Tuesday based on the line rushes at morning skate, NHL.com's Curtis Zupke reports.

Analysis:

Kopitar skated alongside Milan Lucic and Dustin Brown during the morning skate, so it appears if he does return Tuesday he will likely skate on the Kings' top forward line. Kopitar returning would be a huge boost, as he leads the club this season with 51 points through 57 games played. If Kopitar does not end up playing Tuesday, the 28-year-old center's next chance to return will come Thursday when Los Angeles hosts Edmonton.
