Anze Kopitar: Questionable to return

Kopitar is officially questionable to return for Thursday's game due to an undisclosed issue, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

The Orange County Register's Rich Hammond notes that there was nothing in particular that stood out on Kopitar's last shift of the first period, but obviously something must have happened. Losing him for an extended period of time would certainly be a big loss for both the Kings and fantasy owners, but the questionable designation for Thursday's contest would seemingly indicate the issue shouldn't be long-term. Regardless, expect the Kings to update the star forward's status in the near future.
