Borowiecki remains in the league's concussion protocol, and he'll need to clear it before a return to the lineup is possible. Patrick Wiercioch is poised to once again slot into the lineup in his place Thursday, but the physical blueliner (250 hits on the season) did take a positive step Thursday by participating in the team's morning skate. A return Saturday against the Red Wings seems possible, so expect the Senators to update his status again prior to the tilt.
