White-hot Brad Marchand records fastest goal in Bruins history

Brad Marchand extended his impossible scoring surge in record time Sunday afternoon.

The Boston Bruins' breakout scorer notched the fastest goal in the 91-year history of the franchise, scoring eight seconds into the team's matinee clash with the Detroit Red Wings.

Marchand scored in his seventh straight game, and for the 13th time in as many starts. His 28th goal of the season matches a career high, and has him on pace to clear the 40-goal plateau.
