Analysis:

This was the third time Kopi has turned the trick in his career, and the first time since March of 2011. He's been his typical beasty self of late, piling up 10 points in the last seven games to give him an even 50 in 54 contests this season. Friday was also the first time Kopitar had found twine since Jan. 17, so owners will undoubtedly be hoping that the goals start coming with more frequency now after his outburst.
