Bortuzzo will be in the active lineup Tuesday, replacing the injured Alex Pietrangelo (knee), when the Blues face the Jets, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

Pietrangelo will miss at least three weeks, so Bortuzzo, who's played in just 24 of 55 games, will be a regular on the blue line. It's important to note that Bortuzzo isn't being asked to replace Pietrangelo on the top pairing; he'll skate on the third defensive pairing while Kevin Shattenkirk takes Pietrangelo's spot along side Jay Bouwmeester.
