The Nashville Predators are getting exactly what they hoped for from Ryan Johansen.

The talented 23-year-old center has recorded four goals and eight assists in the 12 games since Predators general manager David Poile acquired him from Columbus for Seth Jones. On Saturday, Johansen kept up his point-per-game pace with this spinning backhand pass to set up a James Neal goal.

Heading into Saturday's game against San Jose, the Predators sat outside the Western Conference playoff picture. If they do end up falling short, it certainly won't be on Johansen, who's only drawing rave reviews in Music City.

Johansen added his second assist of the game on a second-period goal from Calle Jarnkrok, his 14th point as a Predator.
