Wild's Brodin to miss 3-6 weeks with broken foot

Marilyn Indahl-USA TODAY Sports

Minnesota Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin will miss three-to-six weeks after suffering a broken foot, general manager Chuck Fletcher announced Saturday.

It's unclear when Brodin was hurt, but he blocked three shots in 17:47 of ice time in the Wild's most recent game - a loss to the New York Rangers.

The 22-year-old has struggled, recording just one assist in his past 26 games. He has one goal and five assists on the season.

The Wild also announced forward Tyler Graovac was recalled from Iowa.
