The Flames will be breathing a huge sigh of relief with the news, as Brodie is an absolute horse on their blue line. While plus-minus rating isn't always a useful stat by itself, when you consider the fact that the Flames are a porous defensive team, Brodie's plus-8 rating is indicative of just how good he's been this season.
