Analysis:

Boychuk was expected to be ready to go following the All-Star break, but apparently needs some more time to get healthy. Not generally a prolific scorer, the defenseman is bogged down in a 22-game goalless streak. Despite his lack of production, the 32-year-old continues to log significant minutes with an average ice time of 21:33 per game.
