Pacioretty will not return to Tuesday's game against the Blue Jackets after suffering an undisclosed injury, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.
Analysis:
The extent of Pacioretty's injury remains unclear, but the All-Star break will afford him some rest, with his next opportunity to play coming against the Flyers on Feb. 2. If the injury lingers, Brian Flynn could back into a more prominent role at left wing.
