The Anaheim Ducks handed the Minnesota Wild their fifth consecutive loss Wednesday, and it came thanks to a perfect passing sequence.

Corey Perry made a cross-ice feed to Patrick Maroon, who went back the other way with a beautiful pass to Rickard Rakell for the eventual game-winning goal.

Rakell now has a career-high 10 goals and 11 assists in 42 games this season.

Anaheim improves to 20-18-7 with the win, and is just two points back of the Arizona Coyotes for third place in the Pacific Division.

Minnesota is clinging to a wild-card spot despite falling to 22-16-8 after yet another loss.
