Analysis:

The big winger spent only four games in the AHL, scoring one goal, since being acquired in a trade with Montreal on Dec. 28. His recall comes much sooner than most expected, and it will be interesting to see how Kassian fits in to the Oilers' lineup. Kassian has the size and toughness to fill a bottom-six role, but also possesses enough offensive ability to play on one of Edmonton's top-two lines.
