The Florida Panthers forward stole the puck at his own blue line, carried it end-to-end, and snuck a backhand shot past Edmonton Oilers goaltender Cam Talbot to open the scoring at Rexall Place:

It was Jagr's 737th career goal, moving him within four of Brett Hull for third on the all-time list.

The 43-year-old has 15 goals and 16 assists in 39 games this season.

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin scored the 500th and 501st goals of his career Sunday, and Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa scored his 492nd and 493rd in a win over the Colorado Avalanche.
