Ryan Johansen is already making sweet music with the Nashville Predators.

From a difficult angle, and with deadly accuracy, the young center absolutely wired a shot past Semyon Varlamov to score his first goal with his new club less than three minutes into Friday's game against the Colorado Avalanche.

Later in the contest, Johansen earned the secondary assist on a Filip Forsberg goal, giving him two points on two shots in 16:47 of ice time in his Predators debut.

Despite the eventual 5-3 loss, Johansen - acquired by the Predators on Wednesday in exchange for Seth Jones - is already providing dividends as the scoring center Nashville has been longing for.

Meanwhile, Seth Jones recorded one shot on goal in 22:31 of ice time - third among Blue Jackets defensemen - in his debut with Columbus, a 4-1 loss.
