Canucks' Prust suffered leg injury, will not play vs. Coyotes

Vancouver Canucks forward Brandon Prust (leg) will not play in Monday night's game against the Arizona Coyotes.

Analysis:

Despite the fact that he took part in Monday's optional skate, Prust did not participate in warm-ups and is not listed in the starting forward lines and thus can be expected to miss the tilt with the Coyotes. The 31-year-old veteran winger's next chance to return to the ice will come Wednesday when Vancouver hosts Carolina.

Prust was injured after a leg-on-leg collision with Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Kesler, per Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province.
