The Los Angeles Kings may have just been dealt a big blow to their lineup.

Jeff Carter is expected to miss the remainder of the Kings' four-game road trip due to an upper-body injury, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.

Carter was forced to depart less than five minutes into Saturday's game against the Arizona Coyotes.

He appeared to sustain the injury off the opening faceoff, according to Jewels From The Crown.

Carter played a 16-second shift off the opening draw, then returned for a 32-second spin about three minutes later before leaving for the dressing room.

The 30-year-old has 28 points in 34 contests.
