Ottawa Senators forward Bobby Ryan and defenseman Cody Ceci will not play against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night.

Both were injured in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Ryan aggravated a hand injury, and Ceci suffered an upper-body injury.

As a result, Ryan Dzingel will make his NHL debut Tuesday.

The 23-year-old forward was recalled from Binghamton on Monday. He has seven goals and 15 assists in 26 games for the AHL affiliate in 2015-16.

Ryan was producing at nearly a point-per-game clip prior to his injury, notching 32 points in 34 contests.

Ceci - Ottawa's 15th overall pick in 2012 - has eight points in 33 games.

Jared Cowen will take Ceci's place in the lineup.

After Tuesday's game, the Senators don't play again until Dec. 27, when they host the Boston Bruins.
