Sabres' Cal O'Reilly makes season debut vs. Devils, Foligno out

The O'Reilly boys will finally get the chance to share the ice together.

Forward Cal O'Reilly, older brother of Ryan, will make his Buffalo Sabres debut Tuesday when the club hosts the New Jersey Devils, the team announced.

Cal, the elder of the O'Reilly brothers, has not played in the NHL since a six-game stint in the 2011-12 season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He's split the last three-plus seasons between the American Hockey League, and the KHL.

He will take the spot of forward Marcus Foligno, who draws out of the lineup while nursing to an upper-body injury.

Cal will center the Sabres' fourth line.
