Dan Hamhuis: Out at least two months

Hamhuis (face) is expected to miss at least two months, per Canucks head coach Willie Desjardins.

Analysis:

Hamhuis remains hospitalized after getting hit in the face with the puck and sustaining a facial fracture during Wednesday's game against the Rangers. While he primarily worked in his own zone, Hamhuis was averaging 19:39 of ice time this season, and the Canucks will be hard-pressed to find a guy that can match his talents as a shutdown man. However, his absence is not likely to set off the panic bells throughout the fantasy world since he only has four assists for his only points in 2015-16. Yannick Weber should be the one to try and fill the void left by Hamhuis' absence.
