Avalanche's Landeskog sidelined by back injury

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog was a late scratch from Wednesday's game against Pittsburgh.
Landeskog has been sidelined with a back injury, the club announced prior to puck drop.
The Swedish forward saw more than 21 minutes of ice time in Colorado's previous game on Dec. 7, and has recorded seven goals and 14 assists in 26 games.
There's no word yet on when the injury developed and how long he will be off the ice.
