In a strange sequence of events, Gagner has been given the all-clear to play after just being placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Even if he doesn't play Thursday against St. Louis, it's reasonable to expect him to play Friday in Dallas. Despite all of his talent, Gagner hasn't been productive this season (five points in 18 games), and will likely fill a bottom-six role when he does return.
