Sam Gagner: Placed on IR
Gagner (upper body) has landed on injured reserve and was absent from Tuesday's morning skate, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
Analysis:
Gagner just cannot seem to shake off this ailment, which has caused him to miss six games already. The Flyers could elect to make the IR placement retroactive, and since he last played Nov. 23, Gagner should be able to come off that list as soon as he's healthy.
