Blue Jackets' Hartnell a healthy scratch vs. Panthers

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Columbus Blue Jackets have made forward Scott Hartnell a healthy scratch for Friday's game against the Florida Panthers after he made a costly error in Tuesday's loss to the Montreal Canadiens, according to Rob Mixer of BlueJackets.com.

With the game tied late in the third period, the 33-year-old was sent to the box after tripping P.K. Subban, which led to Max Pacioretty's game-winning goal just 25 seconds later.

An All-Star in 2011, Hartnell has 16 points in 26 games this season.
