Analysis:

On Saturday Rick Brown of the Tampa Bay Times reported that Palat was still a few weeks away from returning to action. Palat's return to practice Tuesday would seem to indicate that that timetable may no longer be accurate, as the 24-year-old winger wore a "normal colored jersey" during the workout, indicating he was a full participant. Although a return to action Wednesday against the Ducks may be an overly optimistic expectation, it seems likely that Palat will draw back into Tampa Bay's lineup sooner rather than later.
