The Montreal Canadiens were 22 seconds away from a home-and-home series sweep of the New Jersey Devils.

But with their backs against the wall, and their goalie pulled, the Devils finally woke up in the final minutes.

Kyle Palmieri tied the game with a one-timer from the half-boards to knot the game at 2-2, setting the stage for a thrilling overtime.

John Moore capped off the Devils' comeback on an incredible selfless pass by Adam Henrique, who elected to make a drop-pass while on a breakaway. Moore was the recipient of Henrique's pass, and needed two shots to silence the Bell Centre crowd, and give his Devils a 3-2 win.

An extended game was the last thing either goaltender needed, as both Cory Schneider and Mike Condon manned their respective creases after a hard-fought battle in Newark on Friday.

The Devils' victory snapped Montreal's four-game winning streak, while also propelling New Jersey to within one point of the Detroit Red Wings for the second wild-card spot in the East.
