New York Rangers defenseman Dan Boyle will be a healthy scratch once again.

The 39-year-old will watch Friday's matinee against the Boston Bruins from the press box.

Boyle has one point in his last seven games and four points in 18 contests this season. He was also made a healthy scratch for a win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Nov. 15.

Dylan McIlrath will be his replacement Friday. Viktor Stalberg is also a healthy scratch, and will be replaced by Emerson Etem.
