Defenseman Justin Falk is expected to make his season debut for the Columbus Blue Jackets, drawing in for Dalton Prout for Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, according to Rob Mixer of Bluejackets.com.

Falk was traded from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for a fifth-round pick late last season. The 27-year-old recorded two points in five games after arriving in Columbus.

He will play alongside Andrew Bodnarchuk, who was also recalled this past week after Blue Jackets defensemen Fedor Tyutin and Cody Goloubef were injured Nov. 20 against the Nashville Predators.
