The Calgary Flames have activated goaltender Jonas Hiller off injured reserve.
The club also assigned Joni Ortio to the AHL's Stockton Heat on Thursday, clearing the way for Hiller to rejoin the active roster after missing nearly a month with a lower-body injury.
Hiller was hurt in a shootout loss to the Ottawa Senators on Oct. 28. He went 2-3-0 with a 3.67 GAA, and an .861 save percentage, in seven games prior to the injury.
