Islanders recall Ryan Strome

Ryan Strome is heading back to the New York Islanders.
The club recalled the 22-year-old forward Thursday following an eight-game stint with the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
Strome scored two goals and chipped in two assists after being loaned in early November.
He scored one goal and added four assists in 12 games with the Islanders prior to being sent to the AHL, missing a game due to illness and being made a healthy scratch for another.
The 2011 fifth-overall pick had 17 goals and 50 points last season.
