Analysis:
Lehtonen relieved a struggling Antti Niemi in Tuesday's contest against Ottawa, but he collided with teammate John Klingberg after 8:32 TOI and was unable to return. As noted in a separate report by Stepneski, Stars coach Lindy Ruff expects Lehtonen to return to the ice in a couple of days and the team plans to call up another netminder in the meantime. The Stars host the Canucks on Friday and then visit the Wild a day later. We expect the team will provide a clearer picture on Lehtonen's availability ahead of those matches.
