Patrik Elias: Will return Wednesday

Elias (knee) will return to the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jackets, Rich Chere of The Star-Ledger reports.

Analysis:

Elias will make his season debut for the Devils on Wednesday, and is expected to slot in alongside Jacob Josefson and Stefan Matteau for the contest. The veteran winger shouldn't be expected to post huge numbers with the team, but he did still manage to tally 34 points (13 goals, 21 assists) in 69 games last season.
