Ducks' Gibson called up, Andersen out with flu-like symptoms

With Anaheim Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen out for Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames due to flu-like symptoms, the team announced it has recalled John Gibson from the AHL's San Diego Gulls.

Meanwhile, Scott Cruickshank of the Calgary Herald is reporting Anton Khudobin will make his seventh start of the season.

Gibson is sporting a 7-4-1 record with a .917 save percentage in 13 appearances for the Gulls this season. The 2011 second-round pick has a career record of 16-8-0 in 26 NHL games.

The team also announced that forward Chris Mueller was recalled from San Diego, while forward Michael Sgarbossa and defenseman Shane O'Brien were reassigned to the Gulls.
