Sharks' Jones leads NHL's 3 stars of the week

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The NHL named its three stars of the week Monday, and a goaltender took home the top honors for the week ending Nov. 22.

  1. San Jose Sharks' Martin Jones
  2. Vancouver Canucks' Daniel Sedin
  3. St. Louis Blues' Kevin Shattenkirk

Jones was instrumental in the Sharks completing a perfect six-game road trip. He's playing like a true No. 1 goalie, with a .929 save percentage in 17 games.

Sedin had a week to remember. He had a point in each of his four games, and posted a hat trick against the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday. He recorded his 900th career point that night, assisting on a goal by - who else? - his twin brother Henrik.

Shattenkirk was a force last week for the Blues, recording a point in each of his four games. He scored two goals, and added four helpers, as St. Louis picked up five of a possible eight points.

Since returning from injury, Shattenkirk has seven points in eight games.
