VIDEO: Schneider gaffe gifts Sedins a goal

Bob Frid-USA TODAY Sports

The Sedin twins don't need any help. Their former Vancouver Canucks teammate Cory Schneider, though, was in a giving mood Sunday night.

The New Jersey Devils goalie was working on a shutout in the third period when he came out to play the puck, and accidentally put it Daniel Sedin's stick. Daniel did what he normally does from there: found his brother Henrik, who went roof.

The goal was Henrik's seventh of the season, sixth point in two weekend games, and eighth point during a four-game point streak.

Daniel, meanwhile, has five points in his last two games, and eight points during a five-game point streak of his own.
