Washington Capitals defenseman Dmitry Orlov scored one of the strangest goals you will ever see on Saturday night.
Orlov made a nifty move and cruised into the Colorado Avalanche zone, firing a shot that goaltender Calvin Pickard turned aside.
What happened next surprised nearly everyone on the ice:
Orlov's first goal of the season was one he'll likely be laughing about for a long time, especially considering the Capitals defeated the Avalanche 7-3.
