Devils invite Tyler Kennedy to join club on pro tryout

The New Jersey Devils have invited forward Tyler Kennedy to join the club on a pro tryout.
Kennedy skated with the Devils in training camp on a previous tryout, but was released after missing time due to personal reasons.
The 29-year-old spent several seasons in the Pittsburgh Penguins organization under New Jersey's current general manager, Ray Shero.
Kennedy split last season between San Jose and Long Island, recording six goals and eight assists in 38 total games.
