Canucks' Sutter day to day; Prust, Sbisa on verge of return

Russell LaBounty-USA TODAY Sports

Vancouver Canucks center Brandon Sutter is day to day with an undisclosed injury, according to the club.

Sutter sat out Thursday's game and his status for Saturday against Toronto is up in the air. He has four goals and four assists in 16 games.

In other roster moves, the Canucks reassigned defender Alex Biega to Utica of the AHL. Luca Sbisa, out with what's thought to be a foot injury, is set to return on Vancouver's seven-game road trip, which has three games to go.

Brandon Prust may draw back into Vancouver's lineup on the road trip, too. He's been out since late October with an ankle injury.

Sbisa has a goal and three assists in 11 games, while Prust has five helpers in nine games.
